How to Add a Store Locator to Squarespace in 3 Steps

Add a searchable store locator, stockist page, or dealer map to your Squarespace site in three steps. Paste a snippet onto your page. Works on every Squarespace template.

A Storepoint store locator on a Squarespace page with search, product filters, and brand-matched design

Add a searchable map of your locations to any Squarespace page in a single paste. Your Storepoint locator updates straight from your dashboard whenever your locations change, so the page you built stays exactly as you built it.

Use it as a store locator, stockist or where-to-buy page, dealer map, restaurant finder, or provider locator for clinics, salons, and other service businesses. Drops into a Code block on any Squarespace page.

Step 1: Set up your locator

  1. Create a Storepoint account and follow the prompts (you'll pick your map provider and a few basics), or log in if you already have one
  2. Add your locations: type them in, import a spreadsheet, or sync from Google Sheets
  3. Open Embed in the dashboard sidebar and copy your snippet

Open the Storepoint dashboard

Step 2: Paste it into your Squarespace page

  1. In Squarespace, open Pages and pick your locator page, or create a new blank page named "Find Us" or "Locations"
  2. Click Edit to open the page editor
  3. Click the + button where you want the locator to appear
  4. Choose Code under the "More" section
  5. Paste your Storepoint snippet into the Code block
  6. Click outside the block to close it

Step 3: Save and view your page

  1. Click Save in the top right
  2. Open your live page to see your locator
The editor preview might stay empty

Code blocks sometimes don't render inside the Squarespace editor. Save and view your live page to see your locator.

That's the full setup. From here, every location update flows through your Storepoint dashboard. Your Squarespace page stays as you built it.

Make it full width

Squarespace often holds your content to a narrow column. To let your locator fill the page:

  1. In the editor, click the section that holds your Code block
  2. Click the pencil icon to open section settings
  3. Set Width to Full or Full Bleed
  4. Save

Match your template

Common questions

Which Squarespace versions does this work on? Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1 both support the Code block, in the Fluid Engine and the Classic Editor. The install above applies to every template on either version.
