Store hours help customers know when your locations are open. You can display hours for each day of the week, show current open/closed status, and enable an "Open Now" filter.

Adding Hours to Locations
Each location has fields for every day of the week: Monday through Sunday. Enter the hours in any common format and Storepoint will parse and display them. See Hours Format Examples for accepted formats.
In the Dashboard
- Go to Manage Locations
- Click on a location to edit it
- Find the Hours section
- Enter hours for each day (see accepted formats)
Via Import or Sync
When importing from a spreadsheet or using Google Sheets sync, include columns for each day: monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday.

How Hours Display
Hours appear on location cards in the detail view. The display groups consecutive days with identical hours for easier reading.
Grouped display example:
Instead of showing:
- Monday: 9am-5pm
- Tuesday: 9am-5pm
- Wednesday: 9am-5pm
- Thursday: 9am-5pm
- Friday: 9am-5pm
The widget displays:
- Mon - Fri: 9am-5pm
This makes hours easier to scan at a glance. Days with different hours appear separately.
For locations with lunch breaks or split shifts, separate the time ranges with a comma: "9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm". Both sessions will display on the location card.
Open Now Status
The Open Now status indicator is currently in development. Contact us if you're interested in this feature.
When locations have parseable hours, the widget can display open/closed status in real-time. On location cards, customers see status indicators like:
- Open with closing time: "Open · Closes 6pm"
- Closed with next opening: "Closed · Opens 9am" or "Closed · Opens Mon 9am"
- Open 24 hours: For locations that never close
Open Now Filter
The Open Now filter lets customers hide locations that are currently closed, showing only stores they can visit right now.
The Open Now filter is currently being rolled out. Contact us to enable it for your account.
How Filtering Works
When a customer enables the Open Now filter:
- Locations with valid hours are checked against their local current time
- Locations that are currently open remain visible
- Closed locations are hidden from the list and map
Unparseable Hours Behavior
Some locations may have hours in formats that can't be automatically parsed (like "By appointment only" or complex notes). You can configure how these locations behave when the Open Now filter is active:
- Include (default): Locations with unparseable hours remain visible, giving them the benefit of the doubt
- Exclude: Locations with unparseable hours are hidden, showing only locations with confirmed open status

If you enter hours in an unusual format that can't be parsed, they'll still display as text but won't contribute to Open Now calculations. For the best experience, use one of the standard formats above.
Hours fields are free-form text, so you can add notes after the hours or in parentheses. For example: "9am-5pm (by appointment)" or "10am-6pm - call ahead". The note will display on the location card, but only the time portion will be used for Open Now calculations.
