Changing your website platform or theme? Good news: your Storepoint locator works on virtually any website, so moving is straightforward. Your locations, settings, and configuration all stay the same. You just need to add your embed code to the new site.
Your Data Stays Safe
When you move platforms, nothing changes in Storepoint. All your locations, tags, filters, custom fields, and settings remain exactly as they are. Your locator is hosted by Storepoint and simply embedded on your website, so switching platforms doesn't affect your data at all.
Moving to a New Platform
- Build your new website or set up your new theme
- Create a page for your store locator (e.g., "Find a Store" or "Locations")
- Copy your embed code from your Storepoint dashboard
- Paste it into your new page using the platform's HTML or embed option
- Publish and test
That's it. Your locator will appear on the new site with all your existing data.
