Drop in a spreadsheet or sync a Google Sheet. Paste one snippet into your Shopify page. Your locator matches your theme, and customers find what's nearby in seconds.

That's the whole setup, and you only do it once: drop in a new file or edit your Sheet, and your storefront updates itself. From $25/month. Everything below is what your locator can do once it's live.

Where-to-buy & stockists

Show shoppers where to buy.

Most Shopify brands sell in stores too: retailers, boutiques, salons, clinics. Storepoint turns that network into a searchable store finder and where-to-buy map. Drop in distributor exports as they come, tag each location with what it carries, and shoppers filter straight to it.

  • Nearest results appear the moment the page loads
  • Filter by product, service, or location type
  • Buy or book buttons on every listing, linked wherever you sell
  • Product pages can show just the stockists carrying that product
  • Stores on one page, services on another, one dashboard

"Very easy to implement. The filtering options made it easier for our customers to see which stores were carrying which products."

Every search ends with a way to buy.

A shopper searches their zip code or postcode and nothing's nearby. On most locators that's a dead end. On yours, it's an order: show your online store, the retailers that ship to them, or delivery services, targeted by region. When there are nearby results, an Online Options tab sits right beside them.

  • An Online Options tab sits beside nearby results
  • Each region sees its own ways to buy
  • Translations follow your Shopify Markets languages
  • Zero-result searches become orders or leads
Online purchase options come with Pro plans and above.

Spotlight

Set a rule once. It handles the moment.

Spotlight watches where, when, and what shoppers search, then acts. Favorites from our customers:

Nothing nearby?

Show a free shipping code for your online store.

No dealer in the area yet?

Show a lead form and capture the request.

Summer promo running?

Show it in the campaign region, on the campaign dates.

Flagship store in the results?

It jumps to the top with a featured note.

A piece of cake to manage.

Set it up once. It runs itself.

Bring locations from anywhere: distributor reports, CRM exports, your own lists. Drag files in as they arrive, in whatever format they arrive. Columns map automatically and each format is remembered. Or connect a Google Sheet, hand it to your team, and edits flow to your storefront on their own.

  • Import from multiple files and sources, any format
  • Google Sheets sync updates the locator on its own
  • See searches, directions taps, and button clicks
  • Coverage gaps show demand with nothing nearby
  • Unlimited locations on the Business plan
Developers: You can manage locations through the API as well.

"The design is professional and clean and custom to our brand. It's affordable and their customer service is exceptional. Love the sync to Google Sheets too."

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to install an app from the Shopify App Store?

No app install needed. The locator is an embedded widget: you paste one snippet into the page where you want it, and the setup guide shows exactly where it goes. Nothing installs into your theme files and it never touches your store data, so your fonts, layout, and checkout stay exactly as they are. Works on Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus.

Will it slow down my Shopify storefront?

Your theme, apps, and content load first. The locator loads after the page content, on the one page where it lives, so the rest of your storefront carries zero extra weight. Nothing installs into your theme, so theme updates and theme switches leave it untouched.

Will this work with my Shopify theme?

Yup! Every theme: Dawn, Craft, Sense, paid marketplace themes, and custom builds, old or new. The embed is one snippet, and theme updates won't overwrite or break the locator.

Can I show only the stockists carrying a specific product on each Shopify product page?

Yes. Tag each location with the products it carries, then grab a pre-filtered embed code for each product. Paste it on that product's page and shoppers see only the stockists that carry it. The same trick works for brands, categories, or services.

Can I use Storepoint as a where-to-buy or stockist locator for a Shopify DTC brand?

That's the most common setup we see. Tag retailers by product line or store type, turn those tags into filters, and add a buy button to each location that links wherever it sells. The result works as a where-to-buy page, store finder, product finder, dealer locator, or stockist directory. Spindrift and oHy use this exact setup.

Can I build a contractor, clinic, or service center finder on Shopify?

Yes. Anything with an address works: contractors and installers, service centers, clinics, salons, practitioners. It's a natural fit when pros install your product or offer treatments with it, like a skincare brand mapping certified clinics or a tool brand mapping installers. Tag locations by service, add Book Now buttons, and keep stores and providers on separate pages from one dashboard. Crust Busters sells machines in their Shopify store and runs a "Find a Pumper" contractor finder on the same site.

Does the locator work in multiple languages on Shopify Markets?

Yes, and it picks the right language on its own. Add your translations once in the dashboard and the locator shows French on your French Market, German on your German Market, and so on. Same embed, zero extra setup. It helps SEO too, since each market shows real translated text. Multilingual guide.

How do I keep my Shopify store locations in sync without manual updates?

Connect a Google Sheet. Edit the sheet and the locator picks up changes on the schedule you choose: daily on Pro, hourly or every 5 minutes on Business. You can also trigger a sync anytime with one click. Duplicates are removed automatically, and a sync log shows what was added, updated, or removed.

How do I match the locator to my Shopify brand?

Style your map, brand colors, fonts, buttons, and custom map markers in the dashboard, live in minutes. Want a closer match? Once it's embedded on your site or a test page, send us the URL and our design team matches your exact Shopify theme, free on every plan. Need pixel-level control? Your developers get full CSS access.

Can I switch from another store locator app?

For sure! Export your locations from your current app as a CSV and drop the file into Storepoint. Columns map automatically. Then send us your store URL and we style the locator to your theme, free. Your new embed goes on the same page your old locator lived, and most switches are done the same afternoon.

Is there a free version of Storepoint?

Storepoint is a paid product. Plans start at $25/month with a 7-day free trial. It's built for stores that sell through stockists, retailers, dealers, or service providers and need product filters, Google Sheets sync, online purchase options, analytics, and design help from a real team. If that's what you're building, the trial is the easiest way to see if it fits.

Do I need a Google Maps or Mapbox account?

Storepoint works with both Google Maps and Mapbox for the map and search suggestions. Both providers have free tiers, and we have step-by-step guides to connect your own API key. Or skip that entirely: our managed maps option includes monthly map views built right in. Ask us which fits your setup.

What kind of support comes with my plan?

Brand matching by our design team is free on every plan, done by a person after you sign up. For questions, email [email protected] and you'll hear back from one of the people who built Storepoint, usually within a few hours. We've been building store locators since 2015 and we do the support ourselves.

Does this locator have the features I need for my Shopify store?

Yes. Beyond what's covered above, Storepoint includes filters with multiple filter groups, custom fields for per-location buttons (Book Now, Buy Online, View Menu, social links), custom map markers and themes, multi-location maps with search by city, zip code, or postcode, keyword search, GPS geolocation, opening hours with live open and closed status, multilingual labels, search analytics, territory rules, Google Sheets and CSV sync, full custom CSS for designers, and developer APIs. On Shopify specifically, that includes Shopify Markets multi-language storefronts, B2B catalogs, and Shopify Plus. If you have a specific feature in mind, it's likely already built in. Explore all features. Don't see what you need? Email [email protected] and we'll help you find a path with what's built, or work with you to add what's missing.
