Step 1: Get Your Embed Code
- Log in to your Storepoint dashboard
- Click Embed in the left sidebar
- Copy your embed code snippet
Preview your locator in the dashboard first to make sure everything looks right before embedding.
Step 2: Add It to Your Squarespace Site
- In the left menu, click Pages and navigate to your locator page (or create a new blank page like "Find Us" or "Locations")
- Click Edit to enter the page editor
- Hover over the section where you want your locator and click Add Block (the + button)
- Scroll down and select Code under the "More" section
- Paste your Storepoint embed code into the code block
- Click outside the block to close it
Choose Code, not "Embed". The Code block allows JavaScript, which is required for the locator to work.
Step 3: Save and Publish
- Click Save in the top right corner
- View your page to see your locator in action
That's it! 🙌
The Code block won't show a preview while editing. That's normal! Your locator appears when you save and view the live page.
Making It Full Width
By default, Squarespace may constrain your locator to a narrow content area. To make it full width:
- In the page editor, click on the section containing your Code block
- Click the pencil icon to edit section settings
- Under "Width", select Full or Full Bleed
- Save your changes
