How to Add a Store Locator to Ghost

Add a searchable store locator to your Ghost site using the HTML card. Works on every Ghost theme: Casper, Edition, Source, and custom builds.

A Storepoint store locator inside a Ghost page

Add a searchable map of your locations to any Ghost page or post in a single paste. Your Storepoint locator updates straight from your dashboard whenever your locations change, so the site you built stays exactly as you built it.

Use it as a store locator, dealer map, restaurant finder, provider directory, or stockist page. Drops into Ghost's HTML card on every theme: Casper, Edition, Source, marketplace themes, and custom builds.

Step 1: Set up your locator

  1. Create a Storepoint account and follow the prompts (you'll pick a map provider and a few basics), or log in if you already have one
  2. Add your locations: type them in, import a spreadsheet, or sync from Google Sheets
  3. Open Embed in the dashboard sidebar and copy your snippet

Open the Storepoint dashboard

Step 2: Drop in the HTML card

  1. In Ghost admin, click Pages > New page (or open an existing one)
  2. Title: "Store Locator", "Find Us", or "Locations"
  3. In the editor, click the + to add a new card
  4. Search for HTML, select it
  5. Paste your Storepoint snippet into the HTML card
  6. Click outside the card to close it
Editor preview shows nothing

Ghost's HTML card collapses to a tiny placeholder while editing. You'll see the real locator on the published page.

Step 3: Publish

  1. Click Publish in the top right
  2. Set visibility (public, members-only) and click Publish again
  3. Open the live page and try a search

That's the full setup. Every location update flows through your Storepoint dashboard. Your Ghost theme stays exactly as you built it.

Add it to navigation

  1. Go to Settings > Navigation
  2. Under Primary or Secondary navigation, click Add link
  3. Label: "Locations" or "Find Us"
  4. URL: your page slug, e.g. /store-locator/
  5. Save

Match your theme
