Set up Airtable sync

Choose your Airtable locations, match their fields, and sync them to your Storepoint map.

Connect an Airtable table or view to your locator. See the Airtable integration overview for examples of what you can build.

You’ll need: a Storepoint store locator account and access to the Airtable base that holds your locations.

1. Prepare your table

Use one record for each location. Give it a name and a full address. To show only some records, create a view such as Ready for the map and include the locations you want to share.

You can keep address parts in separate fields:

Airtable field Storepoint field Example
Store name Name Casa Giulina
Street Address 100 King Street West
City City Toronto
Province State Ontario
Country Country Canada
Products Tags Coffee, Tea

2. Connect your base

  1. In Storepoint, open Apps & integrations → Airtable and enable it.
  2. Select Connect Airtable. Sign in and give Storepoint access to your base.
  3. Add a source: the table or view Storepoint will read. Choose your connection, base, table, and view if you made one.

3. Match fields and save

  1. Match your name and address fields to Storepoint’s fields. Match each address part if you use separate fields.
  2. Add the details you want visitors to see, such as phone, website, and tags.
  3. Choose Scheduled checks for automatic updates, or Manually to run them yourself.
  4. Choose how to handle removed records. Review removals over 50% lets you approve a sync that would remove more than half the source’s locations.
  5. Save. Check the first sync, or select Sync now for a manual source.

4. Add your map to your website

Check that your locations appear with the right names and addresses. Then follow the website embed guide. Keep editing your locations in Airtable; synced changes appear in the same website map.

Setup questions

How do I map custom Airtable fields?

Create the custom field in Storepoint first, then select it when matching fields. Text, number, and multi-select values can supply public details. For attachments or linked records, prepare a text or formula field with the value you want to display.

How do I turn on Airtable live updates?

Open your Airtable source in Storepoint and enable live updates. Airtable requires Creator access and room for another webhook, which sends change notices to Storepoint. Live updates also use scheduled checks. Turning them on for a manual source adds hourly checks.

Where should I edit a synced location?

Edit it in Airtable. Storepoint uses the Airtable record ID to update the same location when its name or address changes. Clearing an optional mapped value in Airtable clears it on the next successful sync. Storepoint reads your base and leaves the original records unchanged.

What happens when I remove a record from my Airtable view?

On the next successful sync, Storepoint handles the location using your source’s removal setting. The same applies when you delete a record from the table. You can see each sync and any removal review in the source’s history.

Can I pause or remove an Airtable source?

Yes. Pause the source to stop updates while keeping its settings. Removing the source stops syncing and leaves its existing locations in Storepoint.
