Use HubSpot company records to manage your locator’s locations. See the HubSpot integration overview for dealer and branch map examples.
You’ll need: a Storepoint store locator account and permission to connect your HubSpot account.
1. Choose your companies
Give each location its own company record with a name and full address. For a business with several branches, use one record per branch.
Create a company segment: a group of records you want to show on your map. For example, make an Approved dealers segment using a Show on store locator property. You can also use all companies if each one is a location you want to share.
2. Connect HubSpot
- In Storepoint, open Apps & integrations → HubSpot and enable it.
- Select Connect HubSpot, sign in, and approve the connection.
- Add a source. Choose your connection, then your company segment or all companies.
3. Match fields and save
Match your HubSpot properties to the details in Storepoint. Start with the name and address, then add any public contact details or tags.
| HubSpot property | Storepoint field |
|---|---|
| Company name | Name |
| Street address | Address |
| City | City |
| State / Region | State |
| Postal code | Postal code |
| Country | Country |
| Phone number | Phone |
| Website | Website |

- Choose scheduled checks for automatic updates, or manual syncing to run them yourself.
- Review the removal setting. The default, Review removals over 50%, asks you to approve a sync that would remove more than half the source’s locations.
- Save and check the first sync. Select Sync now if you chose manual syncing.
4. Add your map to your website
Check your location names and addresses, then follow the website embed guide. Keep editing your locations in HubSpot.
For a HubSpot website, use the HubSpot CMS embed guide. Connecting company data and adding the map to a page are two separate steps.
Setup questions
Should I use an active or static HubSpot segment?
Both work with Storepoint. An active segment updates its members using your rules. A static segment holds the companies you select by hand. Storepoint checks the selected segment during syncing. The segment controls which records are imported, while the connection permissions cover access to HubSpot company data.
How do I include several branches of one company?
Create or select one company record for each branch, with its own name and full address. Add each branch to your chosen segment. Selecting a parent company alone does not include its branches. Branch records can share the same website domain.
How do I map custom HubSpot properties?
Create a custom location field in Storepoint, then match it to a supported property on a HubSpot Company. Leave private CRM notes unmapped. This connection reads Companies, their properties, and company segments; Contacts, custom CRM objects, and HubDB use different data types.
When does Storepoint check HubSpot for changes?
Storepoint checks on your source’s schedule or when you select Sync now. Company change notices can bring scheduled checks forward. Scheduled checks also read segment membership and custom properties. A source set to manual syncing updates when you request a check.
What happens when a company leaves my segment?
Storepoint applies your removal setting after a successful sync. You can review the run in the source’s history. Pausing a source stops updates; removing the source stops syncing and leaves its existing locations in Storepoint. Storepoint does not write changes back to HubSpot.
