Questions about HubSpot and Storepoint
How can I create a website map from HubSpot company records?
Storepoint connects HubSpot CRM companies to a searchable map you can embed on your website. Give each location a company record with a name and usable address. Visitors can search nearby, use filters, and get directions. Use it as a dealer finder, store locator, or branch map.
Can I show only approved dealers or selected HubSpot companies?
Yes. Choose an active or static company segment containing the locations you want to publish. For example, an Approved dealers segment can select companies using a status property. You can also select all companies if every record should supply a location.
Can visitors filter locations using custom HubSpot properties?
Yes. Map supported company properties, such as products, services, or dealer types, to Storepoint tags. Then organize those tags into filters. You can also map supported custom company properties to public location details. This connection uses Companies, rather than Contacts, custom objects, or HubDB.
How do I show multiple branches of one HubSpot company?
Give each physical location its own company record, name, and address, then include those records in your selection. Branches can share the same website domain and still have their own map pins. Selecting a parent company does not automatically include its branches.
Will my locator update when I change details in HubSpot?
Yes. Storepoint updates linked locations after a successful sync. Choose scheduled checks or sync manually. Company notifications can request earlier checks for scheduled sources. A company’s record ID keeps it linked to the same location when its name or address changes.
Is connecting HubSpot CRM the same as adding a map to HubSpot CMS?
They are separate steps. The CRM integration supplies location data from company records. A website embed displays the locator on HubSpot CMS, Shopify, WordPress, or another website. You can use both together, or connect HubSpot CRM while hosting your website elsewhere. See the HubSpot CMS embed guide.
Do I need Zapier or a developer to connect HubSpot?
No. Connect HubSpot directly in Storepoint, choose your companies, and match the fields you want to display. Then copy and paste the locator embed into your website. This connection reads company data to update your map; it does not write changes or locator leads back to your CRM. The HubSpot setup guide walks through the connection.
