Do I need to install a Magento extension?
No. Storepoint works by pasting a simple embed code into any CMS Page. No extension to install, no database migrations, no module conflicts. Your locator loads from our servers and works in any deployment mode.
Does this work with Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce?
Yes. Storepoint works with Magento Open Source 2.x, Adobe Commerce, and Adobe Commerce Cloud. It's a simple embed code, so there's no version-specific dependency or module compatibility to worry about.
Will it work in production mode?
Yes. Unlike Magento extensions that can break after static content deployment or mode switches, Storepoint loads entirely from our CDN. No static assets to compile, no RequireJS conflicts, no JavaScript issues after setup:static-content:deploy.
Will it add tables to my database?
No. All location data lives on our servers. Storepoint doesn't touch your Magento database, doesn't run migrations, and doesn't create custom tables. Nothing to clean up if you ever remove it.
Does it work with Hyvä themes?
Yes. Since Storepoint is an embed code and not a Magento module, there are no Knockout.js or RequireJS dependencies to worry about. It works with Hyvä, Luma, Blank, and any custom theme.
Can I use this as a dealer or distributor locator?

How does it handle thousands of locations?
Storepoint loads from our CDN and handles clustering, geocoding, and search on our infrastructure. Performance stays fast whether you have 10 locations or 10,000. No server-side rendering on your Magento instance, no slow page loads from loading all markers at once.
What if I replatform later?
Your locator isn't tied to Magento. If you move to Shopify, a headless storefront, or any other platform, just paste the same embed code on your new site. All your locations and settings carry over. Learn more about switching platforms.
