Manage your locator by chatting with ChatGPT. You can ask it to add a location, update hours, or get the code to put your map on a website.
You’ll need: a Storepoint store locator account and a ChatGPT plan with Developer mode: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education. Use ChatGPT on the web for this setup. Connect as the locator’s owner, or as a team member with the developer or admin role.
1. Turn on Developer mode
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
2. Add Storepoint
Open ChatGPT Plugins, select +, and create a developer-mode app. Enter these details:

Create the app, review the connection notice, and continue.
3. Sign in and try it
Sign in to Storepoint, choose your locator, and approve the connection.
Start a new chat. Open the + menu, choose Developer mode, and select Storepoint. Try: “Use Storepoint to list my locations.”
You can then ask for an update or your embed code. Review any changes before approving them. Use the website embed guide to add the locator to your site.

How do I ask ChatGPT to update the right location?
Name Storepoint and the location in your request, then give the exact change. For example: “Use Storepoint to set Casa Giulina’s Monday hours to 9am–5pm.” For stores with similar names, include the address. Review the details ChatGPT shows before approving the update.
Which locator can ChatGPT use?
ChatGPT can use the locator you approve during Storepoint sign-in. This includes its locations, custom fields, settings, analytics, and embed code. The connection does not grant access to billing, your password, or other locators.
How do I add a booking button with ChatGPT?
Ask ChatGPT to create a custom field for a booking link, then give it the link and the locations that should use it. For example: “Add a Book a visit link for our downtown location.”
What happens when I disconnect ChatGPT?
Remove the Storepoint app from ChatGPT’s app settings to end access. Your locator and its saved locations stay in Storepoint.
