Getting Started
What is Storepoint?
Storepoint is a store locator app that you add to your website. Your visitors search by city, state, region, zip code, postcode, or GPS and get results sorted by distance. You manage locations from the dashboard, import from a spreadsheet, or sync from a Google Sheet. See examples of locators built with Storepoint.
What kind of locators can I build?
Store locators, dealer locators, where-to-buy pages, product finders, stockist maps, franchise locators, salon finders, clinic locators, restaurant locators, service provider directories, and more. If it has locations on a map, Storepoint handles it.
Does Storepoint work on my website platform?
Storepoint works on every website platform. Paste one embed snippet into any HTML or code block. We have setup guides for Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, BigCommerce, Framer, Elementor, HubSpot, and many more.
How long does it take to set up?
Most locators go live in minutes. Add your locations, set your colors and map style, paste one snippet into your website. Any changes you make after that update automatically.
Do I need to re-embed the snippet when I make changes?
You embed the snippet once. After that, any changes you make to locations, design, settings, or filters update automatically on your website.
Is there a free trial?
Every plan includes a 7-day free trial. Start your free trial.
Do I need a Google Maps or Mapbox account?
Storepoint uses Google Maps or Mapbox for maps and search. Connect your own API key for unlimited map views. Both providers offer generous free tiers that cover most locators. If you'd prefer a simpler setup, managed maps options are available with included monthly views. Contact us · Map providers guide.
Do you offer free brand matching?
Included on every plan. Our team can match your locator to your website's fonts, colors, and style. You can also adjust everything yourself from the dashboard or write your own CSS.
Managing Locations
How do I add locations?
Three ways: add them one by one in the dashboard, bulk import from a CSV or Excel spreadsheet, or sync from a Google Sheet. All you need to start is a name and address. Everything else like contact details, custom fields, tags, and images is optional. Getting started with locations.
Can I bulk import from a spreadsheet?
Drag a CSV or Excel file into the dashboard. Storepoint detects your columns and maps them automatically. Save the mapping so future imports take seconds. Drop in an updated file anytime and changes apply instantly. Import guide.
Can I sync from Google Sheets?
Connect a Google Sheet and your locator stays in sync. Edit the sheet and your locator updates automatically. Choose the sync frequency: daily, hourly, or as often as every 5 minutes on Business plans. Google Sheets sync guide.
What if I receive location lists from distributors or partners?
Import them directly via CSV. Storepoint remembers your column mapping, so each time you receive an updated list, drop in the new file and changes apply in seconds. You can also connect a shared Google Sheet so distributor updates flow through automatically.
Can I import locations with coordinates?
Yes. If your spreadsheet includes latitude and longitude columns, Storepoint uses them directly. If your data only has addresses, Storepoint geocodes them automatically during import.
Is there a way for users to submit their own locations?
Connect the Google Sheets sync to a form tool of your choice. Submissions flow into the Google Sheet, and from there into your locator automatically.
How many locations can I have?
Starter supports up to 200 locations, Pro up to 2,000, and Business has unlimited locations. Compare plans.
Search & Discovery

Can visitors search by location name?

What happens if no locations are found nearby?
You have several options. Show online alternatives like delivery, ecommerce, or shopping links in a separate tab or when nothing is nearby. Use Spotlight to display a custom message, contact form, or promotion. Or simply show the closest results regardless of distance.
Can visitors get directions?
One tap opens turn-by-turn directions in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze on any device.
